Rent A Car

Springtime is high time to get out of town, and for many Beijingers that means renting a car. If you're not from China you'll need to bring the following to an auto rental agency:

1. Passport or other form of identification
2. Chinese driver's license (see below)
3. A friend who is willing to keep his/her Beijing Residency Certificate with the agency
4. Cash for deposit. Amount depends on car model
