BEIJING UNDERGROUND

The new east-west subway line is open. The new route extends from Tian'anmen Square to Sihui East, just outside the Third Ring Road east of the China World Trade Center. The ten new stations are: Tian'anmen West, Tian'anmen East, Wangfujing, Dongdan, Jianguomen, Yonganli (Silk Alley/Guiyou Shopping Center), China World, Dawang Road, Sihui and Sihui East.

The new line is not yet linked with the older lines, but you can change from the Circle Line at Jianguomen station, and from the Xidan-Pingguoyuan Line at Tian'anmen West. Changing lines requires a new ticket (rmb2).
